This page says what happens to your information when you use markitanphoto.com. It is short because the site does little: it shows photographs, and it has one form.
The enquiry form
The form on the contact page asks for your name, email, a phone number or Instagram handle, and about the day itself — the type of shoot, the date, the venue or city, hours of coverage, whether you want photography or video, a budget range, how far along your planning is, and anything else you want to say.
What you send is emailed to hello@markitanphoto.com so that it can be answered, and it may also be passed to an automation service the studio uses to route its own mail. Both are the studio's own channels. If the studio goes on to work with you, your details are copied by hand into Pixieset Studio Manager, its booking system. Nothing is sold, and nothing is passed to anyone who is not working on your enquiry.
An enquiry is kept for as long as the studio might reasonably need it — to answer you, and afterwards as the record of a booking. Write to hello@markitanphoto.com to ask what is held about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted.
Spam protection
There is no captcha on the form, and nothing profiles you as you fill it in. It carries one hidden field that a person never sees and a machine tends to fill in, and anything that fills it is discarded.
The endpoint also accepts one enquiry per address per minute. That is the only rate limit, and it exists to keep junk out.
Photographs
The photographs on this site are the studio's own work, published with the couples' agreement. The galleries are titled for the place or the ceremony their frames show — no names, no venues a photograph does not show, no dates.

What your browser stores
The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics — there is no tracking script on any page, and nothing here reports what you looked at.
Four things are saved in your own browser, and stay there: the photographs you shortlist, whether you chose the light or dark ground, which typeface pairing is set, and an order for the home page's wall if the studio has been arranging it. None of it leaves your device, and clearing your browser's site data removes all four.
A shortlist becomes visible to someone else only if you copy the share link yourself, which carries the photograph numbers in the address.
Hosting and logs
The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any host, Cloudflare records requests — address, time, page, and the kind of browser — to serve the site and to keep it from being abused. The studio does not use those logs to build a picture of any visitor.
Crawlers and AI
The site tells crawlers where it stands in its robots.txt: it may be indexed for search, and it may be quoted as the source of an answer about the studio, but the photographs are not offered for training models. That is a stated preference and binds only the crawlers that honour it.
